Your Weekend Forecast

Luminary Loppet

2/7

An evening winter walk that feels quietly special, with soft lights lining frozen paths and the city skyline glowing in the distance. It’s calm, unhurried, and more about taking it in than doing a lot. Some people stroll and chat, others move at their own pace, but it all feels reflective and simple in the best way—one of those nights that makes winter feel worth it.

Plymouth Fire & Ice Festival

2/7

It’s a long-running winter festival with a mix of outdoor fun and chill activities for all ages. You’ll find ice skating, snowshoeing, sled dog rides, games, food trucks, and more, with the afternoon winding down in a fireworks show and plenty of chances to wander around play areas and bonfires.

Harlem Globetrotters @ Target Center

2/15

It’s the Harlem Globetrotters doing their usual mix of ball tricks and comedy on the court. Think playful showmanship, goofy antics, and basketball skills turned into a kind of live cartoon for all ages. Loud, silly, fast-moving entertainment that doesn’t take itself seriously at all. It’s all fun and games here.

The Elovaters @ First Ave

2/7

A reggae-rooted band bringing upbeat rhythms and harmonies to the stage. Expect warm grooves, catchy melodies, and a laid-back energy that makes the room feel like a shared moment with friends. It’s music that’s easy to get into and hard to forget.

Dancing with the Stars Live

3/4

It’s a live version of the Dancing With The Stars show where performers bring the routines off your screen and onto the dance floor. You’ll see energetic choreography, familiar songs, and a bit of flair that feels like you’re right in the middle of the action.

Punch Bowl Social in Minneapolis is that weirdly awesome mash-up of restaurant and fun factory you didn’t know you needed. It’s a huge 25,000-square-foot spot near Target Field where scratch kitchen food meets giant games and cocktails on tap. The vibe swings from casual brunch to laid-back date night, with standout sharable bites like their crispy Chicken & Waffles drizzled in chipotle-maple syrup or Steak Frites if you want something meaty and memorable. Expect comfort food with a playful twist, good drinks, and the buzz of people laughing over oversized Scrabble or rosemary fries while you actually try to have dinner.

After dinner here the night doesn’t just end at dessert because Punch Bowl Social doubles as your after-meal adventure playground. You can challenge your date to bowling, try to outscore each other in arcade classics, belt out karaoke like you totally meant to be performers, or casually destroy them at giant Jenga and bocce. It’s less “quiet stroll” and more “friendly competition with drinks,” so if your idea of fun is playful banter, a few games of darts or ping-pong, and seeing who cracks first on a retro arcade machine, this place has your back.

A quick roundup of classic Super Bowl party eats you’ll actually want on the table. Think wings, nachos, chips and dip, dessert and a Carmack secret family recipe you won’t want to miss.
