Cheers to the perfect weekend.

Your Weekend Forecast

Tyler Herwig @ Luce Line Brewing Co.
3/26
This one checks all the boxes without trying too hard. You’ve got slow-smoked BBQ rolling in from a food truck that actually takes its craft seriously, paired with a solid lineup of beer that makes the whole decision process pretty easy. Then live music kicks in, leaning into that indie country, acoustic, “guy with a guitar who’s got skills” category. It’s the kind of night where you show up for one thing and end up staying longer than planned, mostly because everything just works together.

![]() We Fest Karaoke3/25A regular karaoke night gets a little extra interesting here, as local singers take their shot at a chance to win tickets to one of Minnesota’s biggest country music festivals. Expect a mix of brave first-timers, surprisingly good pipes, and a crowd that’s happy to cheer for just about anyone willing to grab the mic.
| ![]() MN Roller Derby3/28Full-contact roller derby played fast, loud, and a little chaotic in the best way. Local teams skate hard, crash harder, and rack up points while circling the track at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. It’s a skater-run league with serious athleticism, big personalities, and a crowd that gets into every hit and sprint to the line.
|
![]() Cocktail Class @ Parlour Bar3/28A hands-on cocktail class led by the bar team, walking through the craft behind a handful of carefully built drinks. Expect a little technique, a little experimentation, and plenty of tasting along the way. The session covers how cocktails are mixed, flavored, and balanced, with a full lunch served alongside the lineup of drinks.
| ![]() Spring Eggstravaganza3/28Kids dash around collecting colorful eggs while families crowd the sidelines trying to keep up. The morning mixes classic egg hunts with games, activities, and a chance for younger kids to burn off some energy. It’s geared toward little ones, with separate areas so toddlers and older kids each get their moment. |

![]() | Dinner at Chloe feels dialed-in without trying too hard. Seasonal cooking, thoughtful plates, and a room that lets you relax into the night. The Ravioli St. John is the standout. Pillowy pasta filled with mascarpone, paired with rich marrow, marjoram, capers, and grana padano, all finished with a port wine reduction that pulls it together. It’s indulgent but balanced, the kind of dish you slow down for, trading bites and quietly agreeing this was the right call. |
![]() | After eating, head over to catch Sleuth at the Guthrie. This production is a classic cat-and-mouse thriller that’s as much about twisting your expectations as watching two guys outwit each other with wit, traps and psychological games. The theater itself gives you that vaulted stage feel where every set piece is part of the tension, and the story keeps pace without dragging. It’s a night of sharp dialogue, unexpected turns and satisfying “did you see that coming” moments that pair well with an evening out that’s more about story and experience than just sitting in silence. |
